There are over 70 different reptiles on display at the Kentucky Reptile Zoo.
You will walk through the Tropics building, the North America building, the Giants building ,
out to the covered Cobra deck,
and outside to our Aquatics area and Alligator pond.
While the majority of our displays are inside, you will walk outside to move to each different area.
Please come prepared to spend some time outside.
Our buildings can be rather warm in the heat of the summer, reptiles are not suited for a well air-conditioned building.
Tours are offered on a walk-in basis when open.
Please note currently there are
no public restrooms available
on the grounds of the Kentucky Reptile Zoo.
Prices for the 2018 season are:
$10.00 (+ tax) per adult
$7.00 (+tax) ages 4 -15
3 and under are free
10% discount for:
Military with ID
Police/ Fire/ EMS
AAA with membership card
Groups of 10 or more
Discounts cannot be combined.
We are open every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. We are also available by appointment Mon. - Thurs. between 10 am and 4 pm. To schedule a time to tour, please call or text us at (606) 663-9160.

Programs are offered daily when we are open to the public
1pm: Venom Extraction* OR a Reptile Talk
3pm & 5 pm: Reptile Talk
Venom Extraction is normally
scheduled for 1pm.
The Venom Extraction is
subject to change at the last second.
Please call the morning ahead
to verify if extractions are
still scheduled for that day.
If the Venom Extraction is cancelled, a Reptile Talk will be held.
Programs last from 15 - 30 minutes
